Cookies
SPEQ Photo’s site does not use “persistent” cookies which can embed itself on your computer’s hard drive and track your activities when navigating different websites. Our server uses “per session” cookies in order to facilitate ordering and printing your order form such as when you click “add to the list of documents to print” or “add to the shopping cart”. Our session cookies are only temporary and are erased once you close your browser window. SPEQ Photo’s website does not embed any other type of cookies on your computer.
E-mail
We only log your e-mail address if you send us a message and it will be used only in the context in which you have sent it. It is never added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your explicit permission and without any prior notice.
After-school activity, information or promotion
If accepted, school activities, after-school activities, information or promotions can appear on SPEQ Photo’s website. Your name or that of your institution, city and province will never be listed without your permission.
Our Blog section
Comments, suggestions and advice that appears in the blog section will be screened to avoid comments that could be harmful, offensive, racist or unacceptable on a website serving the educational community. Your personal information will never be used without your permission.
Surveys
We do not collect personal information when users participate in surveys held in the poll section.
Comments
Comments you send by email, by clicking on the link "To report a problem," are used for no other purpose other than to assess and debug the website.
Discussion forums
Your username and comments in the discussion forum will appear on the site and will be viewed by other participants. You should never write personal information which you would want to keep private on this forum.
Information gathered from our customers individual or institutional
Private or institutional customers who place an order online must provide us the name of the institution, name, address, telephone and fax and email. Information concerning your occupation or membership in an organization is optional. The information mentioned above is retained by SPEQ Photo in a secure database. SPEQ Photo will never communicate or sell the information to a third party and will never reveal any personal information about its customers unless required by law.
Privacy of customer
SPEQ Photo and its subsidiaries protect personal information held and provide strict control measures against loss, theft and unauthorized access of your personal information. We do not disclose, copy, use or modify this information. When your personal information is no longer required it is destroyed in order to prevent access and unauthorized use.
